So long denim, Hello designer

Starting on the May 1 I will be the new assistant manager for Designer at Westside pavilion.  I am so excited for the challenge and for something new.  I am, however, sad that i will no longer be able to wear jeans.... I am being promoted from a job that has given me dozens of free jeans and not only allowed but encouraged me to wear them everyday, to a department where I can no longer wear denim.  I guess this will just force me to be more creative with my wardrobe.  Nordstrom Rack and Crossroads Trading, here i come, digging for deals to revamp my closet.

I can't even wear a denim jacket :(

I had a very Happy Easter this year!

Shelby and I got sunday easter brunch at Lola's

Brunch is my favorite meal! you dont have to wake up early, you get breakfast food, and it's socially acceptable to have an alcoholic beverage. what could you not love about this meal....

we had bottomless mimosas... pear, mango, peach, strawberry, and blueberry

and bloody mary's... (shelby likes 'em spicy)

with our french toast and blueberry banana pancakes.

it was delicious.

Then we traveled to Newport Beach

where we spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying this amazing weather we have been having and napping in the sand.
